Douglas is a gorgeous 9-year-old Kelpie X with a heart as big as his smile. Desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and house-trained, he’s ready to find his forever home.
Douglas is an absolute sweetheart with people — he loves everyone he meets and is always up for cuddles, pats, and plenty of affection. He’s calm and well-mannered around the house, doesn’t chew, and is happiest snuggled up by your side or snoozing after a walk. He’s also very smart and food-driven, making him a fun and eager training partner who loves learning new things.
While he adores humans, Douglas isn’t suitable for a home with other pets. He can be reactive towards other dogs and has a strong prey drive, so he’ll need an owner who understands his needs and can walk him in quiet areas or at low-traffic times. Dog parks and off-leash adventures aren’t for him — but with the right environment, he’s an easy-going and incredibly rewarding companion.
